Webinar: Youth in Conversation- Migrant Empowerment in Asia-Pacific- 22nd October

The Migration Working Group is proud to invite you to Youth in Conversation: Migrant Empowerment in Asia-Pacific, where we will talk about youth outcomes from the Global Forum on Migration and Development, discuss how youth-driven policy and innovations can be implemented across sub-regional differences, and furthering youth collaboration and unity in the region.

Speakers:

  • Yinzhou Cai– Singapore: Co-founder of Citizen Adventures, an organisation championing social initiatives, educational programmes and community events breaking barriers between locals and migrant workers.

  • Nawmee Jessica Howlader– Bangladesh: Youth Representative of the IID Policy Institute’s Youth for policy program, specialising in Bangladeshi labour migration.

  • Aayesha Fazal– Malaysia: Co-founder and Director of Rohingya Eskul, an edtech project centred on language preservation and positive representation of Rohingya refugees in Malaysia, and an APAC Regional Focal Point for the UNMGCY Migration Working Group.
